La Conner, WA

Photos coming soon!

La Conner, Washington is a quaint little seaside town in northern Washington. We stayed at La Conner RV and Camping Resort, which is a Thousand Trails park and one of our favorite ones to date! The RV park is right on the water, with a cool rocky beach that we enjoyed exploring many times with friends.

We saw a ton of crabs, got squirted by clams multiple times and borrowed our friend’s stand up paddleboard to get out on the water, which was a blast! We took a large group of friends to Deception Pass State Park and hiked the Lighthouse Point Trail, which was sooo beautiful.

Deception Pass State Park is over 3,854 acres, with 77,000 feet of saltwater shoreline and 33,900 feet of freshwater shoreline on three lakes. The park is actually located on two islands — Fidalgo to the north and Whidbey to the south. The Canoe Pass and Deception Pass bridges connect the two islands, and it’s one of the most beautiful state parks we’ve ever been to by far!

Nothing beats traveling with friends, and we had a ton of friends also staying at this park with us. We enjoyed a potluck one evening, and nightly campfires. Our spot was right in front of the playground, which meant the kids were in heaven, with lots and lots of kids to play with, right in our backyard at any given time! We loved our time in La Conner and definitely want to go back at some point!
