Our stay at Golden Village Palms RV Resort in Hemet, CA
We have enjoyed spending the fall season in Southern California. We have been able to hang onto warm sunshine for much longer than many parts of the country have, and we found a gorgeous RV resort we have stayed at several times that you should know about!
Golden Village Palms RV Resort in Hemet, CA
Golden Village Palms RV Resort is geared mostly to 55 and older adults, but younger families and children can come visit and stay for stays of 30 days or less. We really enjoyed our stays at the resort, and it definitely felt like a high end vacation getaway type of place with it’s luxurious amenities.
The RV sites all have full hookups & are well defined by nice landscaping.
They are priced differently according to size and location in the park. Sites near the amenities are more expensive. They also have a section of sites for groups to gather, and we had the opportunity to meet members of several groups that stayed there, including a tiny vintage travel trailer group as well as a classic GMC motorhome group that all had motorhomes from the 1970s!
Pricing also varies based on the time of year and length of stay. You can view current pricing HERE.
The Staff
The staff at Golden Village Palms is fantastic. Each time we stayed, we had numerous positive interactions with them. They were extremely helpful and welcoming.
They plan a lot of activities throughout the month, making sure everyone is having a great time!

Certain activities happen every week, while events are one-time special events. You can find a calendar of events on their website HERE to get an idea of what a typical month looks like.
There are so many fun things to do at the resort, even apart from the planned activities. There are:
Multiple pools and hot tubs in a gorgeous setting with palm trees and lush landscaping
Water and sand volleyball courts
Putting green
Multiple pickle ball courts

Billiards room
Well-equipped fitness center with locker rooms and showers
Other lodging options
If you don’t have an RV, the resort also offers fully furnished cottages with kitchens, a dining nook, hardwood cabinets, a primary bedroom with closets, high-end amenities, and patios.
There are homes for sale in the resort as well! (Even our kids joked about this being the type of place they would want to have a home in.)
The local area
Just being at Golden Village Palms is an experience in itself, but if you wanted to venture out, Hemet is situated in the San Jacinto Valley, which is surrounded by:
Picturesque mountains (San Jacinto Mountains and Mt. San Jacinto State Park)
Beautiful lakes (Mystic Lake and Diamond Valley Lake)
The area offers opportunities for outdoor enthusiasts such as hiking, camping, fishing, boating, biking, and wildlife watching.
Hemet is just a short drive away from the popular tourist destinations of Temecula Wine Country, known for its numerous wineries and vineyards. There are also great golf courses minutes from the resort and multiple casinos within an short drive.
This is an RV resort we will be back to visit (we’ve already been twice!), and one where we made some great family memories. It’s a true gem and a place we highly recommend visiting!
