Crater Lake National Park

We were really excited to check out Crater Lake National Park. We went in early June and much to our surprise, most of the roads and ALL of the hikes were still closed due to snow.

We were able to visit the gift shop and visitor’s center to learn more about it and the kids completed the Jr. Ranger program there. Even though all the hikes were closed, we still got some great views (and pictures) of the lake, which made the visit worth it. We really enjoyed seeing it’s beauty in person and would love to return and do some hiking one day!
